Don't Dilute your Octane Levels. During the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake, large amounts of oil vapors can coat your intake tube and even dilute your gas, lowering its octane level. This happens in all engines, but even more so with forced induction systems. To combat this, JLT has developed the all new Version 3.0 Oil Separator. The V3.0 Oil Separator holds over double the old version. 3 ounces of fluid might not sound like much, but drain it every 5000-7000 miles and you won't come close to filling it. It also features a new multi stage filter designed to collect the finest of vapors. Lasting Quality. Milled from solid billet aluminum, the JLT has a knurled tank base for easy removal when draining the spent oil, and an O-ring seal to prevent leaks. Filtering is done by a fine mesh stainless steel screen that traps fine oil vapors. They then pass through a 1/2" thick 1/16" aluminum honeycomb filter where oil collects before dropping into the 3oz tank.
